Weekend report!
Massive post!
Thank you, Neil Dobson & Shannon Hopps, for opening up on Sunday so people were still able to receive their RC fix.
Ryan Bowman and I were attending North West Nitro - NWN for Brca RallyCross Pro round 2, and my first ever national and Ryan’s first national since 1951.
I’m not sure if we mentioned we were attending 🙂
Was it what we expected? I don’t know. It was strict (which I agree it needs to be 100%), but very well organised.
We race because we enjoy it, not because we’re good at it, and this can be seen in the results!
It was great to put faces to names and meet new people.
Team driver Jack Slassor was there with some of the local Hardwick RC Track regulars, wearing their HRCT hoodies Mal Richardson, Jamie Chappell, Stewart Baldridge, and James Mulkerrin
Edward Callan, William Callan & Alex Callan were also there.
We were pitting with Richard Horner & Adi Hullah & Harry Ashford which was a great laugh throughout.
We also had loads of help from Ben Simpson RC & Tim Simpson with advice and keeping us right for the finals, as well as dropping in and refuelling.

Great weekend, and would definitely do it again (at NWN anyway, for now).
One thing we did notice is a lot of people still have not heard about our amazing track! 🤷
Now to track down the guy that sold us the caravan, we used as every 10 miles, something falls off! 🤦🏼
